Arachas, Ireland’s largest nationwide broker, today announced its intention to acquire O’Malley-Griffin in a move that will further strengthen its position in the Limerick and Mid-West markets. This signals another vote of confidence in the Mid-West region, following the acquisition of Hooper Dolan and its Limerick business in 2021. The terms of the announcement were not disclosed.
Established in 1948, O’Malley-Griffin is one of the leading Insurance Brokers in the region, with a strong tradition in the local and business communities. The Company, with 7 employees, is based in the city centre and provides insurance solutions to both the consumer and commercial sectors.
