Arachas further strengthens its position in the marine sector with the announcement of its intention to acquire D&D Insurances Ltd.
Latest in series of acquisitions from Arachas, bringing more specialist experience to the country’s largest nationwide Insurance Broker.
Arachas today announced its intention to acquire the specialist Marine Insurance Broker, D&D Insurances Ltd, for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition will make Arachas, the leading player in the commercial marine market in Ireland and will further bolster its position, as the leading nationwide broker in the country with over 650 employees nationwide*.
D&D Insurances, based in Dublin, has been serving the Irish marine community, since 1986 and has long established relationships with the key fishing ports and marine vessels around the country. The company is based in Dublin and has 4 employees.
